Zážitky 2.J z výukové exkurze na Pražský hrad
Třída 2.J se dne 13. 11. 2025 zúčastnila exkurze do Prahy. Navštívila okruh Pražským hradem s výkladem v anglickém jazyce.
Tato společná akce byla pro žáky cennou zkušeností, která jim umožnila propojit výuku s reálnou historií Prahy.
The Old Royal Palace
The Old Royal Palace offers an impressive look into Czech history. The highlight is the stunning Vladislav Hall, whose size and architecture truly stand out. The visit is quick, informative, and adds meaningful context to the story of Prague Castle. We enjoyed it very much, and the tour guide had great English.
The Golden Lane
In the final part of our tour, the guide took us to the famous Golden Lane. Originally, this gap served as a way of separating the old and new castle walls. Personally, we think that this part could have been a bit longer and accompanied by more interesting information. People lived in the houses that are there to this day until 1945. To interest future students, maybe a small “fun fact” about the treatment of this lane in the wars could be included. Despite these small imperfections, we enjoyed this trip.
St. George’s Basilica
The trip to St. George’s Basilica was quite interesting. The church is old and beautiful, calm, and peaceful. I like the Romanesque style and the bright white walls inside. I found a tiny chapel inside quite curious, along with the old tombs. It was not crowded at all, so I could look around slowly. This was a nice, relaxed visit in total.
